The Client Who Named It
I call this part the Entity Clean-Out because of one specific client. He said to me, "I want to stop smoking, but something inside me keeps telling me to smoke." I listen closely to phrases, and that one caught my attention. With no clue what would happen, I responded, "So let's ask them to leave." I said out loud, "Whoever or whatever is causing this man to smoke, we thank you, but it is time for you to leave and go home."
To my surprise, my client said, "An old man just came out of me. He is from another time. He has a long beard and a tall hat. He is wearing a three-piece dark suit, which is old and worn." Honestly, I was blown away.
"Ask him if he smokes," I said. My client confirmed it — he did. "Ask him if he wants to go home. Tell him to look up. What does he see?" My client responded, "He sees the clouds, but they are opening up, and he sees his wife. She is very old too. She is motioning for him to come. He is going. He is leaving. He is going back home. He is gone."
That experience was the end of my client's need to smoke. And it taught me, within the belief framework this work operates in, that souls and spirits are understood to enter our bodies for various reasons. Over time, I came to work with the idea that playing with the Ouija board is described as one common way they attach, and so is living near a cemetery. Sometimes souls, and many times babies, are understood to not know what to do when they cross over, so guiding them to the light is always the go-to technique within that framework. I have walked many clients through the experience of sending a perceived soul into the light.
My Own Shoulder
On a personal note, I always had this knot in my shoulder. Masseuses would try to rub it out, but it was always there. It turned out to be an old woman who was actually me in another lifetime. She was lost. Once I sent her into the light, the knot in my shoulder completely disappeared.
Where the Clean-Out Fits in the Session
After my clients are finished communicating with their loved ones and pets, I move on to the Clean-Out. I explain this as a clearing of both entities and past traumas, because both show up here. Throughout our lifetimes, we accumulate knowledge, pain, and fears. These pains and fears act like limiting beliefs that hold us back from experiencing the fullness of life.
The clean-out technique gets right to the core of the issue, whether it occurred in this lifetime, in the womb, or in a past life. A clean-out is relatively easy to do because it takes all the guesswork out of trying to figure out where the issue came from. There are only a few places it can come from: their childhood, the womb, a past life, or an entity.
Darkness From the Womb and Childhood
Remember, I told you the subconscious mind holds every memory file since conception. Here is where that work begins. When a child is conceived and in the womb, it understands its mother's and father's emotions. It can actually feel their emotions. If the parents are planning to have a child and are happy about the pregnancy, the child is happy. But if the parents are surprised and unhappy about the pregnancy, the child will feel unwanted, unlovable, and unworthy of being loved.
In childhood, if a parent leaves either through death or divorce, a young child — even one who does not yet speak — will sense being abandoned, not being good enough, or that love hurts, and may carry those limiting beliefs into adulthood. These negative emotions become suppressed magnets.
Darkness From Trauma
Negative energy or darkness can also occur from a tragic or hurtful event. Many times, physical, mental, and emotional abuse is at the core. Other times, clients have hidden darkness from suppressed memories of molestation or rape — often with a relative or friend of the family. All of these show up in the body as dark spots, and every one of them can be lifted out.
Practice
Teach the Clean-Out to someone else. 1. Explain the four places darkness comes from — childhood, the womb, a past life, or an entity — out loud, as if you were teaching another practitioner. 2. Write your own version of the invitation: "Whoever or whatever is causing this, we thank you, but it is time for you to leave and go home." 3. Say it aloud three times, with authority and no aggression. 4. Write one sentence you would use to explain the Clean-Out to a nervous client in a pre-talk.
