Module 13 · The Hypnotherapist’s Library of Scripts and Forms

Bringing in the Pets Script

30 min

Verbatim from Susan's book — Bringing in the Pets Script.

I like to bring in the pets first to allow them to

practice speaking and seeing loved ones who have

passed over. This usually brings a lot of tears, so I

give them a mask to wear so their tears aren’t

flowing down their faces the entire time. Masks

work great. I never take them back as they are

promotional and have my name and website on

them. Besides, they are usually very wet!

1. “This is a very special beach/ garden, so special that even those who have crossed over can come to you in perfect health and happiness. To prove that to you, would you like to visit with Sparky?

2. “When the client agrees, say, ‘Say hello to Sparky, happy and healthy. So happy to see you now. What is he doing?’

3. “He has something he wants to say to you. You can communicate with him just like you did with the elephant. What does Sparky want to tell you?” (If the client can’t hear Sparky, say, ‘I would like to say hello, Sparky. What does he say to me? He can hear me, but I can’t hear him. Tell me what he says to me.’” This gets the communication flowing.

4. “Is there anything you would like him to know? Do you need to or want to apologize for anything?” This is very important because so many of us had to euthanize our furry friends, and many carry a lot of guilt about it. It may be possible that they were not home enough or didn’t treat them well. I always let the animals stay with them during the session.
